I won tickets to see 'Wicked'!

Last night - for the fourth time - I tried winning tickets $25 to see the musical 'Wicked' - The untold story of the Witches of OZ'. The show was completely sold out and tickets in the top balconies were at least $50 each - when they were available! The musical does this special competition for their shows. You rock up two and a half hours before the show and put your name in the lottery. If you're randomly selected you win two tickets. Fourth time lucky! After hitting Nashville during peak hour TITAN traffic... I miraculously found a park when a copper directed me down a street I didn't want to go. Then I had to run in heels and in light rain to the theater. I got my entry form... and made into a paper airplane and chucked it into the pot. After saying to the guy beside me after they called out a bunch of winners 'I'm not feeling it...' They ACTUALLY called out my name! So stocked! I won two tickets - FRONT ROW! Then I had to try and remember where I parked my car! Naarah from Alabaster Box who LOVES musicals joined me and we had a blast.

What a great, hysterical musical. If this musical comes to a town near you... or you happen to be in a city where its showing I highly recommend it. You'll laugh... you'll cry (almost :-p) and the storyline to the 'Wizard of OZ' will make a whole lot more sense! And despite the name - morality, integrity and good prevail!
